Today marks 11 days till Christmas. So, on the second day of Christmas this blog gives to you, another poem.
I’m choosing to call it a Christmas Tree Poem. It’s styled like a diamond one where the amount of words grow or diminish in each line. In this case the word count goes from 5-6-7-3. It’s very random, I just made it work for what I wanted to write. Which makes me think it’s really perfect to be called a Christmas Tree Poem because Christmas trees are always different. I hope you enjoy it!
The star shines bright above.
The lights wrap around the branches.
The ornaments hang like drops of memories.
Memories of love.
